What I Edit

I spent the bulk of my childhood at my local library. I’ve read thousands of novels—no exaggeration. I can tell when a word fits or falls flat by instinct. If your book doesn’t flow as perfectly as I can possibly make it, I’m not doing my job. I’ve also got a great knack for pacing. If your book is starting to drag, I’ll help you pick up the pace.

I also do basic copyediting and proofreading. If you’re interested in either, we can discuss rates and a timetable for completion.

RATES:

Proofreading: 1.0 to 1.3 cents/word

Copy editing/Line editing: 1.4+ cents/word

Manuscript review with critique: 1.3 cents/word

Developmental/Content editing: rates vary based on the level of support/editing required
