Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve enjoyed an eclectic exposure to culture and art, though I’ve always gravitated to the written page. I’ve read more novels than I can count, spent years editing in every genre, and continue to collaborate one-on-one with authors to polish their writing to perfection.

I earned my Advanced Editing Certificate and my Certificate in Accurate, Audience-Focused Editing from Poynter ACES (American Copy Editors Society) in 2020 from The Poynter Institute.
